Mohamed Boudia (24 February 1932 – 28 June 1973) was an Algerian poet, playwright, journalist and political activist. He became a senior member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and served as its Chief of Operations in Europe. Born in French Algeria, he fought in the Algerian War for independence and was jailed for an attack on a petrol depot in southern France. After Algeria gained independence in 1962, he was released and later became director of Algeria’s national theatre. He fled to France in 1965 after a power shift and ran a theatre in Paris, working with militant figures such as Carlos the Jackal. On 28 June 1973, he was assassinated in Paris by a car bomb placed under his seat, an operation linked to Mossad following the Munich massacre. He was succeeded as Chief of PFLP operations in Europe by Michel Moukharbal.
