Balkassar

Balkassar is a village and union council in Chakwal District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is part of Chakwal Tehsil. The name comes from the Kassar tribe, who are the main residents. Balkassar is one of several nearby villages—Chawli, Dhudial, Mangwal, Bikhari Khurd and Balokassar—where many people belong to the Kassar tribe. It is located at about 32.9333° N, 72.65° E, and follows Pakistan Standard Time (UTC+5).
