Faitroun, also spelled Faytroun, is a town in the Keserwan District of Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate in Lebanon. It is about 33 kilometers north of Beirut and sits at an average height of 1,200 meters above sea level, with a land area of about 7.43 square kilometers (743 hectares). Most residents are Maronite Christians.

The town has a public school that had 229 students in 2008 and several hotels and restaurants for visitors. The name Faitroun comes from Aramaic and means "throne of the lord."

Key sights include the Church of Saint George (built in the 18th century) and an ancient citadel with wells.

History: In the 16th century, Sunni Muslims from the Beqaa Valley settled in the area. Ottoman records show Muslim households in 1523, 1530, and 1543. In 1838, Eli Smith noted Feitirun as a Maronite village in Aklim el-Kesrawan, northeast of Beirut, and as the main seat of the Maronites.
