Lotyń, Greater Poland Voivodeship
Lotyń is a small village in north-central Poland. It is in Gmina Okonek, Złotów County, Greater Poland Voivodeship. About 1,000 people live there. The village sits at 53°36′N 16°48′E and uses CET (UTC+1) and CEST (UTC+2) in summer. Cars from Lotyń have the registration code PZL. Lotyń is also known by its German name, Lottin. Historically, the area became part of Poland in the 10th century. It then belonged to the Duchy of Pomerania (within the Holy Roman Empire) until 1648, later becoming part of Prussia and Germany, and it returned to Poland after World War II in 1945.
