Supporters of Justice Discourse of Islamic Revolution
Supporters of Justice Discourse of Islamic Revolution (Persian: حاميان گفتمان عدالت انقلاب اسلامي) was a principlist electoral list used in the 2012 Iranian parliamentary elections. It was said to be close to Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei and supported Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s government (2005–2013). In Tehran, its list overlapped with the Front of Islamic Revolution Stability. The group was linked to the news site Goftemannews.com, and there were reports they planned to publish a newspaper called Mehr Adalat. Saeed Jalili used a similar slogan, “Discourse of Islamic Revolution,” for his 2013 presidential campaign. In January 2014, the group issued a statement condoling the death of Ahmadinejad’s mother. On April 17, 2015, Ahmadinejad gave a speech in Mashhad for the Supporters of Justice Discourse of Islamic Revolution. The reformist daily Shargh suggested the group might become active in the 2016 parliamentary elections.
