Microspathodon frontatus
Microspathodon frontatus, the Guinean damselfish, is a small ray-finned fish in the damselfish family. It lives in the eastern Atlantic Ocean off West Africa, in the Gulf of Guinea, from Ghana to Bioko and the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe, where it is common. It prefers rocky reefs, rocks and rubble. Like other damselfish, it forms breeding pairs. Eggs stick to the bottom and are guarded and aerated by the male. Conservation status: Least Concern.
