Sylvie Vernyuy Njobati (born 1991) is a Cameroonian documentary filmmaker, journalist, activist, and founder of RegArtless. She campaigns for Cameroon's artifacts to be returned home. Born in Banso, Northwest Cameroon, she grew up in the Anglophone region with her mother and grandfather. She moved to Yaoundé in 2012 to study business management and development and earned a Master’s in Theatre, Television and Film Studies from the University of Bamenda. In 2016 she started the Sysy House of Fame, a cultural centre that runs theatre and cultural projects for the Nso people. She participated in a 2018 Goethe-Institut workshop on Heritage and Colonial History. Her first short film, The Twist of Return, has screened at festivals in Africa and Europe. In 2024 she was nominated for the African Rising Activism Awards.
