Men of the Immaculata
Men of the Immaculata (MOTI) is a Catholic lay group founded in 2017 in the Diocese of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It hosts annual Catholic men’s conferences and promotes Marian devotion. The headquarters are in Baton Rouge, and Scott L. Smith, Jr. serves as chairman. Founders include Father Miles Walsh, Hunter Hardin, Mark Hermann, and Scott L. Smith, Jr. MOTI publishes a conference program called The Catholic ManBook. For 2021, planned speakers include Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, Dr. Allen Hunt, and Father Reuben Dykes. The theme is "St. Joseph, Pillar of Families, Protector of the Church, and Terror of Demons."
