Jim Hogan (Kilkenny hurler)

Jim Hogan (Séamus Ó hÓgáin) (1928–27 November 2010) was an Irish hurler who played as a right corner-back for Kilkenny. Born in Tullaroan, County Kilkenny, he joined the Kilkenny senior team in 1950 and played until 1957. He made his first appearance in the 1950 championship and became a regular member of the team for about a decade. He won one All-Ireland medal as a non-playing substitute and two Leinster medals with Kilkenny. At club level, Hogan played for Tullaroan and won two Kilkenny county club championships. He was a farmer by occupation. He passed away in Waterford on 27 November 2010, aged 81–82.
