Maurice Pivar (11 August 1894 – 14 June 1982) was an English-born American film editor, producer and writer. Born in Manchester, United Kingdom, he later moved to the United States and worked in Hollywood. He edited 21 films and supervised the editing of 59 more. He produced four films and wrote dialogue for the film The Cohens and the Kellys in Africa. He died of a heart attack in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 87.
