Matthew Alan Kranchick is a former American football tight end who played in the NFL. He was born on December 13, 1979, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Kranchick was a tall player (6 ft 7 in) who attended Trinity High School and later Mercersburg Academy, where he played multiple positions including quarterback, wide receiver, and defensive end. He then played college football at Penn State, earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration in 2002. At Penn State, he caught 24 passes for 352 yards and 1 touchdown, including a 73-yard reception in 2003—the longest by a Penn State tight end.

He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers (194th overall). He played in two games for the Steelers in 2004 and in four games in 2005, recording 1 catch for 6 yards before being released. The New York Giants signed him in December 2005, and he appeared in two games without recording stats. He later spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006 (offseason) and the New England Patriots on their practice squad from December 2006 to August 2007.

Kranchick finished his NFL career with 1 reception for 6 yards across four seasons.
