Matthew M. Gabler (born July 13, 1983) is an American politician who represented Pennsylvania’s 75th House District as a Republican from 2009 to 2020. Born in DuBois, he was valedictorian at DuBois Central Catholic High School and earned a BA in political science with a minor in physics from Bucknell University in 2006. After college, he became a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and later joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, where he rose to the rank of Major. He led the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment of the 424th Multifunctional Medical Battalion and served as a medical logistics officer with the 28th Infantry Division. In 2018 he deployed to the Middle East for Operation Spartan Shield and was promoted to Major during the deployment. Before his election to the state House, he was a research analyst for the Republican caucus in the Pennsylvania House. Gabler was elected in 2008, served six terms, and did not seek reelection in 2020. He is married to Lisa and has two children.
