Angus Cloud
Conor Angus Cloud Hickey (July 10, 1998 – July 31, 2023) was an American actor best known for playing Fezco in HBO’s Euphoria (2019–2022). He grew up in Oakland, California, in an Irish family with younger twin sisters, Molly and Fiona. He attended the Oakland School for the Arts, where he was classmates with Zendaya, and he later worked on a high school theater crew.
In 2013, Cloud suffered a head injury after falling into a poorly lit construction pit, leaving a scar on the left side of his head. He was discovered by Euphoria casting director Jennifer Venditti while working at a restaurant near Brooklyn; he initially thought she was trying to scam him. He had no prior acting experience before Euphoria, where his character Fezco became a fan favorite and his role expanded in Season 2.
Beyond Euphoria, Cloud appeared in the 2021 film North Hollywood as Walker and the 2023 film The Line as Robert DeWitt. He also appeared in music videos for Noah Cyrus, Juice WRLD, Becky G, and Karol G. He signed with United Talent Agency in 2023.
Cloud died at age 25 in Oakland from an accidental overdose involving methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and benzodiazepines. His mother said his last words were “I love you, mama.” He was interred at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland. He had completed work on the unreleased films Your Lucky Day and Abigail (the latter dedicated to his memory), and he had also been set to star in The Things They Carried. A voice role he recorded for The Garfield Movie was released after his death and dedicated to his memory.
