Matijevic Hill is a hill on Mars, located on Cape York along the western rim of Endeavour Crater in Meridiani Planum. Its approximate coordinates are 2.23°S, 5.35°W. The hill was found by NASA’s Opportunity rover and named after Jacob “Jake” Matijevic, a NASA engineer (1947–2012) on September 28, 2012. Matijevic Hill contains a rock outcrop called Kirkwood, where Opportunity found a concentration of small spherical features. Orbital data also show a clay mineral signature in the area.
