Maryam Khanom
Maryam Khanom Bani Isra'il was a Jewish woman from Mazandaran who became a wife of the Qajar rulers. She married Agha Mohammad Khan Qajar and later became the thirty-ninth royal consort of his nephew, Fath-Ali Shah Qajar. She was known for her beauty, and is sometimes called Maryam Khanom Bani Isra'il to distinguish her from another consort with a similar name. After she was widowed the first time, Hossein Khan Sardar wished to marry her, but Fath-Ali Shah chose her as his wife, which caused a dispute. She had eleven children, including Mahmud Mirza, Homayun Mirza, and Ahmad-Ali Mirza. Her death date is unknown, but she lived during the late 18th and early 19th centuries in Iran.
