Marius Žaromskis, nicknamed the Raging Demon and The Whitemare, is a Lithuanian former mixed martial artist who competed from 2000 to 2024. He fought mainly at welterweight and began martial arts in Kyokushin karate and kickboxing, becoming Lithuania’s national youth champion in both, later adding Muay Thai before moving to MMA.

He made his pro debut in 2000 and built his reputation in Cage Rage in the UK, where he earned a shot at the British welterweight title but lost to Che Mills. After more fights in Lithuania, he joined DREAM in Japan. In 2009 he won DREAM’s Welterweight Grand Prix and became the first DREAM Welterweight Champion, defeating Jason High in the final. He defended the title against Kazushi Sakuraba at Dynamite!! 2010.

Žaromskis then signed with Strikeforce in 2010, challenging Nick Diaz for the inaugural Strikeforce Welterweight Championship but lost by TKO. He also faced Evangelista Santos and had a controversial no-contest with Waachiim Spiritwolf. In 2012 he moved to Bellator, fighting several bouts, including rematches with Spiritwolf and a win over Nordine Taleb, but was defeated by Andrey Koreshkov in the semifinals and later logged a mix of wins and losses in the promotion.

After a break, he fought in Bushido Vilnius in 2019 and later joined KSW. A planned fight with Roberto Soldić in 2020 was canceled due to the pandemic. He defeated Andrzej Grzebyk at KSW 56 in 2020 when Grzebyk broke his leg, then lost a rematch to Grzebyk in 2021 at KSW 62. Žaromskis had a retirement bout in 2024 at KSW 92 against Maciej Jewtuszko, losing by decision.

Overall, Žaromskis finished with 23 wins, 11 losses, and 1 no-contest, with 17 wins by knockout, 1 by submission, and 5 by decision.
