Melachokkanathapuram
Melachokkanathapuram is a panchayat town in Theni district, Tamil Nadu, India. As of the 2001 census, it had a population of 11,661, with roughly equal numbers of men and women. The town has an average literacy rate of 58% (male 68%, female 49%), and about 11% of residents are under 6 years old. The official language is Tamil.
