Mario Fraschini was an Italian sprinter who ran the 400 metres. He was born on November 24, 1938, in Pizzighettone, Italy, and died on August 16, 1983, at age 44. His best time in the 400m was 46.8 seconds, set in 1962.

Fraschini won two medals with Italy’s 4x400 metre relay team at the Summer Universiade (1959 in Turin and 1963 in Porto Alegre). He competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics and earned 19 caps for the Italian national team from 1958 to 1965. He won six national championships at the senior level and was part of the G.S. Fiamme Oro club.
