Q-Tex were a Scottish techno group active in the 1990s. The members were Gillian Tennant (vocals), Scott Brown (keyboards), Gordon Anderson (keyboards) and Alan Todd (keyboards). They first performed at The Metro in Saltcoats, Ayrshire, Scotland in 1991, and began while the members were in college. Their first release was The Equator EP in August 1991.

They had several hits on the Scottish and UK charts. Their breakthrough and best‑known song was The Power of Love, which reached Scotland #13 and the UK #65 in 1994, and again in 1997 as a remix reaching Scotland #10 and the UK #49. Believe is their highest-charting song in Scotland, peaking at #2, while Let the Love is their highest UK charting single, reaching #30. The album Into the Light reached #89 in the UK in July 1997.
