Marawila (Sinhala: මාරවිල) is a town in the Puttalam District of Sri Lanka’s North Western Province. It sits on the A3 road, which connects Negombo and Chilaw, about 27 km (17 miles) from Negombo. The town is known for its beaches and is a popular tourist spot on Sri Lanka’s west coast. Marawila also has a Government Base Hospital (Type B).
