Manisaspor
Manisaspor is a Turkish football club from Manisa. The club began in 1931 as Sakaryaspor and was renamed Manisaspor on 15 June 1965. They wear red, white, and black and play home games at Mümin Özkasap Stadium, which holds about 3,000 fans. Their training ground is the Tarık Almış Sports Complex in the Aegean Region.
Early on, Manisaspor spent many years in the lower leagues. In 2000 they received a financial boost from Zorlu Holding and were rebranded as Vestel Manisaspor. The club earned promotion to the Süper Lig in 2005 under manager Levent Eriş, with Ersun Yanal taking over for the 2005–06 season. After a strong winter in 2006–07, results slipped and they finished 12th. They were relegated from the second tier in the 2014–15 season and have since dropped to lower divisions. By the 2025–26 season they compete in the Turkish Regional Amateur League. The club’s ultras are known as Tarzanlar, named after a local World War I hero, Tarzan of Manisa. The badge later removed the Vestel name and now features the club’s founding year, 1965.
