2002 Omloop Het Volk was the 56th edition of the race. It took place on 2 March 2002, starting in Ghent and finishing in Lokeren. The 202 km course was completed in 4 hours, 52 minutes, and 30 seconds. The winner was Peter Van Petegem of Belgium. Frank Høj of Denmark finished second, and Michel Vanhaecke of Belgium finished third.
