Malwa Agency was a sub-agency of the Central India Agency in British India. Its headquarters were in Neemuch, with Ratlam and Jaora among its main towns.

Formation and changes
- It was created in 1895 from princely states in northern Malwa after the Western Malwa Agency was abolished.
- The Dewas States (Dewas Senior and Dewas Junior) were added in 1907.
- In 1925, Malwa Agency merged with Bhopawar Agency to form the Malwa and Bhopawar Agency, which was renamed the Malwa and Southern States Agency in 1927.
- In 1931 the Dewas States were moved to the Bhopal Agency, and in 1934 the agency was renamed back to Malwa Agency.

Area, population and composition
- The agency covered a large area of northern Malwa, with a population of about 1,511,324 in 1881.
- It included both Salute states (by precedence) and non-salute states, and also covered portions of territories belonging to Gwalior State, Indore State, Tonk State, and the Dewas States (Senior and Junior).

End of the agency
- After India became independent in 1947, the states within Malwa Agency joined the Indian Union and were merged into Madhya Bharat.
- Madhya Bharat later became part of Madhya Pradesh on 1 November 1956.
