California Reading List
The California Reading List is a database that helps students find books that are age-appropriate and appropriately challenging, based on their standardized test scores. After the California Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) exams, each student gets a recommended reading list shown as a number from 1 to 13. The list also takes the student’s grade level into account to ensure the material is suitable for their age.
