Lilkee is a Hindi children's film from 2006. It was produced by the Children's Film Society, India and directed by Batul Mukhtiyar. The story follows Lilkee, a 10-year-old girl from the mountains near Nainital who works as a domestic helper in Mumbai. Bela brings her to Mumbai to do housework and look after Bela's child. Lilkee works hard, misses her home, and makes a few friends. Her growing sense of responsibility helps her employer enroll her in school. The film was released on 5 October 2006. It was shown in 2009 at the Sadak Chhap Film Fest in Bangalore and in 2011 at the Filmi Chashma Film Festival in Pune.
