Malesardi Quadrangle
Malesardi Quadrangle is a central open area on Bucknell University’s campus in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. It sits on a plateau above Dent Drive and overlooks the Susquehanna Valley. It was formerly called the Athletic Quadrangle and was renamed in 2016 for Robert Malesardi, Class of 1945, who donated $20 million—the largest gift in Bucknell’s history; he died in 2021 at age 96. Surrounding buildings include Freas Hall beneath the plaza, Vaughan Literature Building to the north, Bertrand Library to the east, and Coleman Hall to the south. The quad hosts Senior Sunsets and Commencements.
