Maipú, Mendoza
Maipú is a city in Mendoza Province, Argentina. It is the capital of Maipú Department and lies close to the provincial capital, Mendoza. The area is an important wine-growing region and has a wine museum. Maipú has about 106,000 residents (2010 census) and sits at about 759 meters above sea level.
