Tescott is a small city in Ottawa County, Kansas, United States. As of 2020, about 265 people live there. It sits northwest of Salina near the intersection of 30th Road and K-18, next to an abandoned railroad.

The town was founded in the 1860s, laid out in 1866, and named after early settler T. E. Scott. It was incorporated in 1905. Tescott covers about 0.36 square miles of land and sits at roughly 1,293 feet above sea level. The climate features hot, humid summers and mild to cool winters.

Tescott is part of the Salina micropolitan area. In 2018, an EF3 tornado touched down nearby, damaging one house but causing no injuries.

Education is provided by Twin Valley USD 240, which includes Bennington High School and Tescott High School. The Tescott Trojans won the Kansas Class BB boys basketball championship in 1957.
