Madame Élisabeth de France
Madame Élisabeth de France (1764–1794) is a portrait painted around 1787 by the French artist Adélaïde Labille-Guiard. The painting shows Élisabeth of France, the sister of Louis XVI, who lived at Montreuil. It was shown at the Salon of 1787 in Paris. Today the portrait is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The painting measures about 78.7 cm tall by 65.4 cm wide (31.0 x 25.7 inches) and has the Met accession number 2007.441.
