Lynetta Kizer (born April 4, 1990) is an American-Bosnian professional basketball player who most recently played for Geelong United in the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL). She is a 6’4” center who played college basketball at the University of Maryland.

Early life and college
Kizer grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia, with an older brother and younger sister. She attended Potomac Senior High School in Dumfries, where she started at center all four years and served as team captain. She was highly rated as a recruit in 2008. At Maryland (2008–2012), she earned ACC Freshman of the Year (2008–09), was on the ACC All-Freshman Team (2009), and earned multiple All-ACC honors, including ACC Sixth Player of the Year (2012). She majored in family science.

WNBA career
Kizer was the 29th overall pick in the 2012 WNBA draft by the Tulsa Shock. She also played for the Phoenix Mercury (2012–2013) and spent time with the Indiana Fever (2014–2016), helping them reach the 2015 WNBA Finals. In 2016 she averaged about 9.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game over 33 games. She was traded to the Connecticut Sun in 2017. Kizer signed with the Minnesota Lynx in 2018, played 12 games, and was waived midseason. She then spent time in various training camps, including with the Atlanta Dream in 2019.

Overseas and international play
Kizer has played for many teams around the world. Her overseas career includes stints with KB Stars (Korea), Good Angels Košice (Slovakia), Hatay BSB and Galatasaray (Turkey), Olympiacos (Greece), Shandong Six Stars (China), Fenerbahçe (Turkey), CCC Polkowice (Poland), Della Fiore Broni (Italy), Çankaya University (Turkey), Panathinaikos (Greece), Rojas (Mexico), CB Islas Canarias (Spain), and Geelong United (Australia). She has won championships in Greece (2017), Slovakia (2014), and Poland (2019), among other titles.

National teams and honors
Kizer was part of the United States U18 team that won the gold medal at the 2008 FIBA Americas Championship. She also played for the USA at the 2011 World University Games, winning gold. In 2015 she began playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina, participating in their qualifying games for EuroBasket.
