Luis Manuel Seijas
Luis Manuel Seijas Gunther (born 23 June 1986) is a Venezuelan former footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in Valencia, he began his professional career with Caracas and then moved to Banfield in Argentina. He later played for Deportivo Táchira in Venezuela and Santa Fe in Colombia, helping Santa Fe rebuild after a tough season. In 2011 he signed with Standard Liège in Belgium but left in 2013, then joined Deportivo Quito in Ecuador. He returned to Santa Fe in 2014 and helped them win the 2015 Copa Sudamericana. In 2016 he moved to Internacional in Brazil, with a loan spell at Chapecoense in 2017–2018. He went back to Santa Fe in 2018 and later played for Phoenix Rising in the United States from 2021 to 2022. Internationally, Seijas debuted for Venezuela in 2006 and earned 69 caps, scoring 2 goals.
