Adalberto Batista Garcia (born 31 August 1967) is a Brazilian long-distance runner from Indiaporã, São Paulo. He started running at age 17 after a friend encouraged him and trained with the Smel Rio Preto/Brasil Telecom team.

In his early career he placed well at major races: third at the 1992 Gate River Run, and strong showings in 1995 at the Saint Silvester Road Race and the Rio Half Marathon. He won both the 5000 metres and the 10,000 metres at the 1996 Troféu Brasil de Atletismo, which qualified him for the 1996 Olympic Games. In Atlanta, he ran the 5000 metres but did not advance past the heats.

After the Olympics, Garcia focused on road racing. He finished 27th at the 1998 Saint Silvester, was third in the 1999 Troféu Brasil 5km, and won the 50 Years of Marcopolo 10.5km race in southern Brazil. He captured the 2001 São Silvestre de Brodowski title and defended it the following year. In 2000 he set the Brazilian record for the 5000 metres. In 2005 he won the São José do Rio Preto stage of the Fila Paulista Circuit, running 10km in under 30 minutes, and also won the 15 de Fevereiro Pedestrian Race, his first win in ten years. He retired from competition in 2007 and studied physical education.
