Taku Takeuchi
Taku Takeuchi, born May 20, 1987, in Iiyama, Nagano, Japan, is a Japanese ski jumper who has competed since 2006. He skis for the Kitano Construction Corp. Ski Club. In the World Cup, he has three podium finishes in individual events and three in team events, and his personal best jump is 240 meters (Vikersund, February 13, 2016). His best individual World Cup result is a second place at Klingenthal in 2013.
Takeuchi competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi in the team large hill event. At the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, he finished fifth in the team large hill, 34th in the normal hill, and 37th in the large hill.
World Championship appearances include mixed team normal hill events in 2013 Val di Fiemme, 2015 Falun, and 2017 Lahti. He stands 1.75 meters tall.
