Lorraine Fenton, born Lorraine Graham on September 8, 1973, in Manchester, Jamaica, is a retired Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 400 metres. Her career peak came at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, where she won the silver medal in the 400 metres, becoming the first Jamaican woman to medal in that event. She also won silver medals at the World Championships in 2001 and 2003, and bronze at the 1999 World Championships, with additional medals in the 4x400 metres relay at major championships. In 2002 she set a Jamaican record in the 400 metres with 49.30 seconds, a mark that stood until 2024. After missing the 2004 Olympic season due to a hamstring injury, she returned to win a silver medal with Jamaica’s 4x400 metres relay team at the 2005 World Championships. She retired after the 2006 season. Her personal bests are 100 m in 11.73 seconds (1999), 200 m in 22.63 seconds (2001), and 400 m in 49.30 seconds (2002).
