Arras Flying Services Memorial

The Arras Flying Services Memorial is a war memorial in the Faubourg d'Amiens Cemetery near Arras, France. It honors nearly 1,000 Commonwealth airmen from the Royal Naval Air Service, Royal Flying Corps, and Royal Air Force who were killed on the Western Front in World War I and have no known grave.

The monument was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, with sculpture by William Reid Dick. It features an obelisk with a globe on top and four inscribed sides that list the names of the flight crews.

It was unveiled on 31 July 1932 by Hugh Trenchard, 1st Viscount Trenchard. The Flying Services Memorial stands beside the Arras Memorial within the cemetery, which contains about 2,650 First World War graves and a few Second World War graves.
