Lord Ruthven Award
The Lord Ruthven Award is given every year by the Lord Ruthven Assembly, a group of scholars who study vampire fiction and are connected to the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts (IAFA). It honors the best vampire-themed fiction and the best scholarly work on vampires in culture and literature. The prize is awarded each March at the International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts (ICFA) in Orlando. It is named after Lord Ruthven, one of the first vampires in English literature.
