Lord Francis Conyngham

Lord Francis Nathaniel Conyngham (24 September 1832 – 14 September 1880) was an Irish-born politician who sat in the United Kingdom Parliament. He was the younger son of Francis Conyngham, 2nd Marquess Conyngham, and Lady Jane Paget, daughter of Field Marshal Henry Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey.

Conyngham served in the Royal Navy and reached the rank of lieutenant. He was Member of Parliament for County Clare from 1857 to 1859 and again from 1874 to 1880.

On 11 September 1867 he became a captain in the part-time Donegal Artillery Militia (Prince of Wales's).

In 1857 he married Hon. Georgiana Charlotte, daughter of the 1st Baron Tredegar. They had no children.

He died in Gloucester on 14 September 1880, aged 47. His wife remarried and died in April 1886.
