Lophocampa annulosa
Lophocampa annulosa, commonly known as the Santa Ana tussock moth, is a moth in the family Erebidae. It was described by Francis Walker in 1855. This species is found in the southwestern United States (southern Texas and southern Arizona), Mexico, and many countries in Central and South America, including Costa Rica, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Suriname, Brazil, Honduras, Argentina, and Trinidad.
The caterpillars (larvae) feed on Aegiphila falcata.
