Longue-Rive
Longue-Rive is a small municipality on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada. It includes the communities of Sault-au-Mouton, Baie-des-Bacon, Pointe-à-Boisvert, Rivière-Éperlan and Saint-Paul-du-Nord.
History: In 1898, Saint-Paul de Mille-Vaches split from Escoumains and became Saint-Paul-du-Nord in 1931. The Village of Sault-au-Mouton formed in 1947. In 1997, Sault-au-Mouton and Saint-Paul-du-Nord merged to become Saint-Paul-du-Nord–Sault-au-Mouton. After a 1998 referendum, the name Longue-Rive was chosen and approved by the government.

It covers about 321 square kilometers in total, with 308 square kilometers of land, and had 918 residents in 2021. The population density is about 3 people per square kilometer, with 562 dwellings.
