Mugad is a village in Dharwad district, Karnataka, India. It lies at 15.450°N, 74.917°E. According to the 2011 census, Mugad has 1,027 households and a population of 5,085 people (2,630 men and 2,455 women), with 649 children aged 0–6. The official language is Kannada, and the area follows Indian Standard Time (UTC+5:30).
