List of trains in the Netherlands
Trains in the Netherlands, both current and former, are undergoing updates. A planned 7‑million‑euro refurbishment will upgrade the ICM train fleet. The renovated ICM trains will have 13% more seats, a new interior, an accessible bathroom, air conditioning, and improvements to the engine and electrical systems. The front doors will be removed. These renovated trains are the first NS trains equipped with OBIS. OBIS provides free onboard Wi‑Fi and shows journey information on screens, with automated voice announcements through the speakers. The information shows real-time trip status and the stations the train passes.
