Jewish Insider
Jewish Insider is a Washington, D.C.–based online news outlet that covers U.S. politics and Jewish life. It reports on Jewish philanthropy, communal institutions, and nonprofit leadership. The site was founded in 2015 by Max Neuberger and is part of Tribe Media Corp., which also publishes the Jewish Journal. Tribe Media acquired Jewish Insider in 2015, and in 2021 Jewish Insider acquired eJewishPhilanthropy. The publication has broken several notable stories, including reporting antisemitic, anti-women, and conspiratorial posts that led to the resignation of Chicago school board president Mitchell Johnson in 2024, and antisemitic posts by a Defense Department official during the Trump era. It also reported that the Biden administration suspended aid to Sudan after the 2021 coup.
