List of ministers of kingdom relations of the Netherlands
Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (Dutch: Minister van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties) leads the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, is a member of the Cabinet and Council of Ministers, and also serves as the minister of the interior. The current minister is Judith Uitermark of the New Social Contract (NSC), in office since 2 July 2024. A state secretary typically assists the ministry with specific tasks; the current state secretary is Zsolt Szabó of the Party for Freedom (PVV), also since 2 July 2024, responsible for kingdom relations and digital government. The ministry’s first holder was Paulus van der Heim, who became Secretary for India Affairs and Commerce on 29 June 1806. The deputy is State Secretary Zsolt Szabó for Kingdom Relations and Digitalisation. The minister’s salary is €205,991 (as of 2025).
