The Village at Corte Madera
The Village at Corte Madera is an upscale shopping center in Corte Madera, California. It opened in 1985 with Macy’s and Nordstrom as its anchor stores. The Hahn Company developed it, and Macerich owns and manages the center (Macerich bought it in 1997). The center has about 440,000 square feet of retail space on one level and five parking lots. In early 2025, Macy’s announced it would close as part of a nationwide plan to shut 66 stores, and the Corte Madera Macy’s closed in March 2025. Nordstrom remains the only anchor store.
