Viscofan is a Spanish company that makes artificial meat casings. It produces four types: cellulose, collagen, fibrous, and plastic. The company was founded in 1975 in Cáseda, Spain, and is listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange (General Index since 1986; previously in IBEX 35).

In 2019, Viscofan reported revenue of €849.7 million, operating income of €130.3 million, total assets of €1.085 billion, and equity of €784.4 million, with about 4,628 employees. The group operates production centers in 13 countries and has commercial offices in 15, exporting a large portion of its products to customers in more than 100 countries.

Viscofan has grown through many acquisitions. Key milestones include IAN (1988) to strengthen the Spanish market; Naturin (1990); Gamex and Trificel (1995); Koteksprodukt (2005) and the AB Tripasin assets (2005); and Teepak assets in the United States and Mexico (2006). In 2008 it launched Viscofan Bioengineering in Germany for collagen-based tissue-repair products, with activities in Weinheim. It expanded into China with Viscofan Technology (Suzhou) in 2009 and a converting plant in 2010, and opened Viscofan Uruguay in 2012, followed by collagen extrusion plants in China (2013) and Uruguay (2014).

In 2015 Viscofan sold the IAN Group to focus on casings, bought Nanopack Technology & Packaging to expand its plastics line, and opened a plastics plant in Mexico. It then acquired Vector USA and Vector Europe in 2016. Today, Viscofan produces four types of casings and serves customers worldwide.
