List of cities in Haryana by population
Faridabad, in the National Capital Region, is Haryana’s most populous city according to the 2011 census. This article lists Haryana’s urban agglomerations and cities with more than 100,000 people as of 2011.
An urban agglomeration is a continuous urban area that includes a town and its outgrowths, or two or more adjacent towns with or without outgrowths. The total population of an urban agglomeration should be at least 20,000.
In Haryana, the components of urban agglomerations are shown using abbreviations: M Corp. = municipal corporation; MCL = municipal council; M = municipality; CT = census town; OG = out growth; NA = notified area; CB = cantonment board.
Urban agglomerations with a population above 100,000 (as per the 2011 census) and their constituents are listed in the table below.
