This is a brief overview of the airlines of Mexico as of 2025. The list is organized by ICAO and IATA codes and callsigns. A separate list covers defunct airlines.

History
Commercial aviation in Mexico began in 1921 with Compañía Mexicana de Transportación Aérea in Mexico City.

Major carriers
- Aeroméxico: the national flag carrier and the largest airline by fleet size and destinations.
- Volaris: carries the most passengers.
- Viva Aerobus: the third-largest among the major carriers.

- Mexicana de Aviación (state-owned and recently relaunched)

Network and services
- National and low-cost airlines operate extensive international networks and scheduled services.
