This is a simplified look at the UK top-ten singles of 1953.

The UK Singles Chart ranks the best-selling singles in the United Kingdom. In 1953 it was based on physical single sales. The chart was first published by NME in 1952, starting as a top 12 and later expanding toward a top 20 by 1954.

This article lists songs that reached the top ten in 1953, including songs that peaked in 1952 or 1954 but were in the top ten in 1953. The entry date is the week the song first hit the top ten.
