The 2016 Touring Car Masters was an Australian racing series for modified touring cars built between 1963 and 1978. It was the 10th season and was approved by CAMS as an Authorized Series, with Touring Car Masters Pty. Ltd. acting as the Category Manager.

Winners
- Pro Master: John Bowe (Holden Torana)
- Pro Am: Jason Gomersall (Holden Torana)
- Pro Sport: Adam Garwood (Holden Torana)
- Invitational: Greg Garwood (Ford Capri Perana)

Bathurst and Trans-Tasman Challenge
- The Bathurst round joined with the New Zealand Central Muscle Car series.
- The Trans-Tasman Challenge had over 50 cars from both series.
- Glenn Seton won the round in a Ford Mustang.
- The best-placed New Zealander was Dean Perkins in a Ford Falcon.

Season format
- The series ran over eight rounds, each with at least two Series Races and a Trophy Race.
- Cars were split into different classes.
- Points were awarded for each Series Race (according to the official points table) and drivers earned 25 points for each Trophy Race they started and 25 points for each Trophy Race they finished.
