This article lists the U.S. number-one songs of 1957 as rated by Billboard magazine. Before the Billboard Hot 100 existed, Billboard published several weekly singles charts. In 1957, five different charts were produced. Note that Billboard changed its issue dates from Saturday to Monday on April 29, creating a one-week inconsistency; the schedule would revert back on January 6, 1962. The Top 100 recorded a tie for the number-one single on April 20 and December 9, while the Honor Roll of Hits had a tie for the number-one song on November 4. Billboard also counted certain B-sides as sharing the number-one spot with their A-sides on one chart.
